Package Manager (New!)

Create and Apply “mini-templates” within existing Instances … A package can contain the necessary items to conduct a segment of evaluation, such as a peer review, and be imported to an open Instance already in progress. 

• Import Multiple Configuration Items at the Same Time … Surveys, observations, score variables, reports, and other items designed to work together can all be easily shared! We are diligently working to get the GideonSoft store up and running, so you will be able to purchase and download packages to jump start your assessment. Keep an eye on GideonSoft.com!
• A Whole New Support Tool … GideonSoft techs can create and distribute content to be used in live instances.

Auto-Instance (New!)

Automatically Create a new Instance on your Schedule … Helps keep your GideonSoft configuration current and streamlines the process to changing to a new Instance.

• Handles Multiple Administrative Steps … Typically, there are quite a few steps to change to a new Instance: close an Instance, move the stats, create a new Instance, import existing people, assign them properly, plan out the schedule of events… Auto-Instance can do all the work for you!
• Set a Reminder and Schedule it … Notifications can be sent to administrators when it’s time to make the change, and allows you to schedule it to fit your calendar.
• Stay Current … Create a new Instance based on the Module template, or use the current Instance as the template (since it’s usually more up to date).

Report Enhancements

• Display Comments as a Word Cloud … We’ve added the option to display comments as a word cloud, including an exclude list. 
• More Sophisticated Sub Reports … Multiple parameters are now available for use in linking to sub reports, which means more fine-tuned and flexible sub reports.
• Display CPR Data in Detail Data Grids … CPR data is now available in DDGs, so you can design CPR reports in addition to viewing a person’s profile page.

Status Tags

• Filter People’s Status More Precisely … Define and apply tags along with a Status in order to more finely track people, or provide more context for their status.
• Filter on the Org Dashboard … The new Status tags can also be used to filter badges on the org dashboard.

New User Notifications

• Send Notifications to New Users … Notify people brand new to GideonSoft, as well as existing users who are added to a new Instance. When importing, just click a checkbox to send a welcome message.
• Customize your Welcome Message … Add a message unique to your organization, to go along with links to sign in, the Help Center and the Forum.

Miscellaneous Improvements

• Dashboard enhancements … Objects can now be counted on the org dashboard.
• Improved Team and Group Object handling … Specifically when removing, there is now an option to remove the object when removing the Team or Group.
• A New Audit Log … Available in each Instance, many changes are tracked (Groups, Teams, Surveys, Observations, Reports, Data and so on).
