Survey Item: Tagged Matrix Question Type

This allows for rating multiple items or people at one time. The configuration is similar to a Matrix rating but responses can have a color associated with them, and you can create virtually unlimited tags to rate the items against.

• Choices

• • • Choice … the text response that is displayed
    • Description … text displayed as a tooltip over the choice text
    • Value … the value stored in the database
    • Comments Required … requires a comment to be added if the choice is selected.
    • Color … Displayed when this response is selected.
    • Default … displays this choice as selected by default
    • N/A … allows handling of a question that may not be applicable to all respondents; enables the choice to be ignored, rather than factored into analysis or reporting.
  • Show values … Displays the value of the selected response.
  • Use buttons to choose responses … Instead of the default dropdown input method, this displays a simple + and – for quick and easy input.
  • Tag Name (required) … These are displayed across the top of the matrix, and saved as a descriptive for the resulting rating. Each rating is saved as a separate evaluation.

• Rate People … Choose a role to determine which list of people to show for selection.

• Exclude survey taker from list … So the person doing the rating can not rate themselves.

• Rate Items … you can create a list of items to rate, including:
  • Item … the text that is displayed in the survey
  • Description … text displayed as a tooltip over the choice text
  • Variable … (entered here when rating Items instead of people)
  • Specific Response Descriptions …Select a response, and provide a description to appear as a tooltip when hovering over the item on the page. One or more can be added.
  • Rating visibility settings … This functionality provides a way to display the response under certain conditions. You can copy and paste these settings from one response to another:
    • Only show when the taker is in … Select one or more roles.
    • One show targets in … Select one or more roles.
