Survey Item: Text Question Type

This is a straightforward, single text response via an open field text box.

• Number of lines of text to display in the text box … this limits how much text can be entered by the respondent (min. 1, max. 10)
• Copy as Descriptive (optional) … The response will be added as a descriptive for the subject, using what is entered here as the Variable Name. As you begin typing, available existing matches will be displayed for you to select from.
• Limit responses to a list …If you select an existing variable that has a picklist available, you will be prompted to use that picklist for this question. Otherwise, separate responses using semi-colons or line breaks. Users will only be able to select one of the available responses. 
• Format response as a Date … Displays a date selector. Choose which date format to enforce from the dropdown.
