Survey Item: Image Tile Question Type

This allows images to be used when presenting the question.

• • Presets … a preset contains the images, question text, and all the supporting settings to quickly add an image tile question.

• Tile Settings

• • • Number of tiles … minimum of 1, maximum of 10

• Question Items

• • Tile (dropdown) … this is how to set the order of the tiles
  • Label … text displayed as a tooltip over the tile
  • Responses … defines the images and options for each tile. These can vary slightly, depending on the question type selected.
    • The image must be 300px by 300px (must be square), and one of the commonly used image formats (jpg, png, gif, bmp, svg, ico, tif, etc)
    • There are options to zoom and rotate the image once uploaded.
    • (Image) … click to upload, change or edit the image used for the tile
    • Item … the displayed text
    • Value … the value stored in the database
    • Variable … provide the variable name here
    • Move to another tile (dropdown) … can easily move the response item to another tile.
• Question Settings … defines the question and possible responses displayed when an image is clicked.
  • Response type … select from one of five question types:
    • Multi select response … allows multiple responses to be selected for each tile
    • Single select response … allows a single response to be selected for each tile.
    • 5-point rating scale … allows a 5 point rating scale for each response item.
    • Multi select image … allows selection of multiple tiles (this would allow an single, optional comment for all selections); no response items need to be configured
    • Single select image … allows selection of a single tile; no response items need to be configured
