Instance Settings – Activity and Configuration

From the Instance homepage, click the “Settings” button. Under Tools, there are a few options to manage an active Instance. You can view information here to find out about how people are currently using this app, as well as insights into how this app is currently configured. The information currently available:

  • Activity – Survey Input … Displays survey input, organized by the survey type; plus a full detailed list.
  • Activity – Module … Displays summarized module activity, including sign-ins, observations recorded, surveys completed (active instances only).
  • Activity – Reports … Displays report activity (defaults to most recent 30 days).
  • Activity – Shadow (Impersonation) … Displays survey and observation input by someone other than the named evaluator (i.e. admin or data entry person).
  • Activity – User … Helps troubleshoot user access; tries to identify last mobile access, last web access, status, mobile app version, etc. Also displays new/pending accounts, and confirms in processing settings (if any).
  • Configuration – Administrative Changes … Helps troubleshoot potential configuration issues when multiple people contribute to the administration of an instance (defaults to last 90 days).
  • Configuration – Communication Troubleshooting … Search for an individual by username or email, display their notification settings and activity.
  • Configuration – Observations … Displays all events, behaviors, actions and their settings.
  • Configuration – Overview … Summarizes the configured sections of an instance.
  • System Processing Troubleshooting … Displays stats and details regarding the task queue and variable processing (i.e. hierarchy).
  • System Troubleshooting … Displays the top 500 records in GideonSoft’s internal system log.
