Report Design: Third Party Report (Display Options)

Once you’ve set up a report’s location and access options, next you’ll define content and display options.

File and parameter options

• SSRS Report Name … this is the report file name (without the .rdl), and must match exactly. Press <tab>, or click on ‘Report Parameters’.
  • If the file name is incorrect or is not available, a message will display to notify you.
• Report Parameters
  • If any parameters are available to customize this report, they will be listed. They may/may not all be required; check with your SSRS report designer to confirm.
  • If no parameters are available, a message will be displayed to confirm.
• Click “Publish!” to save the report.

Preview

• Click the Preview tab to confirm that the report is set up correctly.
  • If Profile Report is enabled, there will be a drop down to select the subject of the report.
  • If any SSRS report parameter options were configured to be visible, they will be displayed. Make selections and click “View Report”.
  • Otherwise, the report will display on this tab.
• You can return to Design mode by clicking the Designer tab or click “Edit Options” at the top left.

Removing a 3rd Party Report

From the “Report Designer” page, click the down arrow to the right of the target report, and click “Remove”. You will be prompted to confirm.
