An Iconic Refresh!
- An Updated User Experience … In the continuing effort to keep GideonSoft up to date and modern, we’ve updated all the icons throughout the web and mobile app UI. While every icon on every screen has been updated, you’ll find everything is in the same familiar place and layout.
- Many More Design Options … Instead of (only) hundreds of options to customize reports, you now have over 6000!
- Easier Data Entry … In Persistent Modules, data entry is now as easy as the Performance Module profile fields: click, type, press enter.
Survey Says … ?!
- Collaborate Again and Again … With the new multi-session version of the collaborative survey type, a new session can be started each day (or however frequently it’s needed!).
- Nothing Like Some Confirmation … For surveys sent to non-GideonSoft users, confirmation emails can automatically be sent to each person after completion. And of course the message can be customized.
- A Little Admin Love … In survey history, we added a search box to the shadow dropdown for administrators to more quickly find a specific person they’re looking to shadow (just like the Survey ‘taker’ page).

It’s Gonna Be Synced
- More Flexibility in Data Handling … Now you can synchronize descriptive data between Instance and Global fields; or manage/maintain Instance level descriptive data independently.
- You Know Where and When Data Gets Back in Sync … GideonSoft shows you a confirmation results popup to help ensure your understanding, and help keep the data valid and up to date.
Other Miscellaneous Changes or Updates
- Provide More Context … Use the new Histogram report item to display a distribution and see what the population looks like.
- Now Everyone Can Attach a File … Basic Users can now add a file to their own profile as a global attachment.
- Control Time … Or at least schedule Instance start and end dates! Instances that haven’t started yet will appear as “Future Instances” for administrators.
- Drag and Drop in the Schedule Builder … You can now drag and drop folders and events in whatever order is needed.
