Better “People Skills”

We listened to your feedback, and made it much easier to add and manage people in GideonSoft!  You don’t want to have to learn yet another app. You want to just jump in and get things done. So …

• Adding people is quicker and easier … We’ve added 2 new ways to efficiently get people in your system: use a Join code or send Email Invites. Review and approve the responses and away you go! As always, you can still add one at a time, import existing people or use a spreadsheet for larger lists of people.
• Managing people is easier and more flexible … With an updated People page, there’s more info and actions available, and you can pick and choose which columns to view. 

A Whole New Kind of Module

• We’ve given your assessment a whole new purpose! … You’ve used GideonSoft for assessing performance and developing your roster, team or staff. Now, you can use GideonSoft for recruiting new people to determine whether they’d be a good fit, using a Persistent Module … 
• When you have a lot of people but fewer data points … With no end dates and no Instances, the Persistent Module is designed to handle a large number of people. Instead, just Categorize them as needed.
• Yes, Categories … Great for neatly organizing and filtering, people can be assigned to a Category (or no Category).
• Focus your Data … With 26 built-in fields and the ability to add Custom fields, you can define what data you need each person’s “card” to contain.
• Add and Share Notes … You and your team of assessors can quickly leave notes in an organized manner for each and every person in the Module. Then group notes however you like, and share them as needed.
• Upload and Share Files … Just like Notes, you can store a transcript, photo or other attachments for a person, and then share with other assessors (or not!).
• Easily highlight people for quick reference … Apply formatting rules to color-code people, or add them to your watch list!
• And we’re just getting started … We have big plans for collecting and reporting data on all these people. Stay tuned! 

Reporting Improvements

• In our continuing pursuit of reporting perfection … We’ve added more bells, whistles and functionality for all!
• We’ve added polish to our Popups … Printing and exporting output now includes the header. 
• Scripted Decision Trees …  Now report designers have the ability to script their own Decision Tree visualizations. 
• Export to Excel … Detail Data Grids can now display an icon at the top right to export to Excel.

Miscellaneous Goodness

• More Dashboards … We removed the 10 page limit, so you can set up as many as you need.
• Add an image to a Survey … Now you can simply add a photo or chart, and then ask questions about it.
