Time for a Little Makeover

We redesigned the GideonSoft web app user experience to modernize the look & interactivity and make it more user friendly. There’s always room for improvement …

• Quicker access to the things you need … A new header is available on pretty much every screen in the web app, enabling you to get to the module, instance, survey or whatever you need with fewer steps. Once you dive into a survey, observation or report, you’ll still know how to complete the task.
• Customizable Quick Links … Power Users and above can customize their own Quick Links, adding up to 8. 
• Enhanced Search … A new cross-feature search is available at any time, and it can look in people, surveys, reports, etc.

That Includes Your Profile

• A More Intuitive Layout … Easily see where a person is involved throughout the organization.
• A Global Profile … Functioning much like Persistent Modules, the new Global Profile enables you to view and enter or edit data.
• More on the way … We have more plans for profiles! 

Roles and Responsibilities

• More Refined Proctor sets … To give you more options, we split the Proctor permission set into Data Proctor and People Proctor sets. In your instance, you can enable 1 person to focus on data related tasks and another to manage people. (Don’t worry, the original ‘Proctor’ set is still available!)
• More Powerful Role Clusters … We’ve updated the user experience for creating and managing role clusters, as well as built-in, more sophisticated configurations.
• Customizable Permission sets … Now add up to 2 custom permission sets to suit your organization’s needs.

Miscellaneous Goodness

• Module & Instance Label overrides … You can now customize (override) the Module and Instance labels at the Module level.
• Enhanced Shareable surveys … You can now use tags on required pre-questions. Plus, shareable surveys can also now be completely anonymous.
• Persistent Module Enhancements … We told you we weren’t done yet. To continue expanding the Persistent Module capabilities, we’ve added Units for additional filtering and Activities for more types of data points that can be collected.
