Organization Settings – HPAdmin only options

From the Organization homepage, click on “Site settings” to access these organization level options.

Under Customization…

Org Code

Setting this value does not affect mobile app registration. Instead, this setting can be referenced in welcome emails and be used to validate package installations.

Under Administration …

The R Server Address is: _

Only change this setting when using a custom R server. The format should be: https://servername/. SSL is recommended but not required.

Under Tools …

Create a New Module

Provide a name for the new Module and click Create.

Customize Module Sort Order

You can customize the Module sort order in the navigation menu on the left for the entire organization (these changes are made for the entire organization, not for any single user). This is especially useful for administrators and overlords that have access to most everything in organizations with a large amount of modules.

  • Keep Persistent Modules Separate … When ‘On’, displays Persistent Modules at the top of the navigation list with a separator line.
  • Sort Mode … There are 3 sorting modes available:
    • Automatic (default) … Modules are automatically sorted by name and no customizations are available.
    • 3-Category (Top, Middle, Bottom) …  All Modules are displayed in the Middle list by default. You can then move selected Modules up to the Top list, or down to the Bottom list. Once in the desired lists, Modules are sorted alphabetically.
    • Custom … Drag and drop to sort. New modules will be added at the end of the list.

Setup Elmah Log Exceptions

Use this to filter out non-GideonSoft Elmah Error entries. Enter one message per line, and be as specific as possible. Then click Save & Apply.

Reset Application Cache

This will recycle the application caches. This should only be used when running advanced backend functions that cause the UI to get out of sync. (Note: there is no confirmation before resetting)

Under Permissions …

Permission Set Configuration

Only Horizon Performance employees should have this option. This is to review all permission sets and the access level for each resource.

You can add up to 2 custom permission sets.

  • To create a new permission set, select an existing permission set to use as the starting point, and provide a unique name within the organization. The name cannot be changed, so choose carefully!
  • For each Resource listed, you can define the View, Create, Update and Delete permissions, but selecting from the dropdown (—, Allow or Deny).
  • To remove a permission for a resource, it is sufficient enough to select “—“.
  • The Deny permission should only be used in cases where no matter what, anyone assigned to this permission set cannot perform the action, even if it is granted from another role or permission set that they are a member of.
