Importing Data Using Integrations

GideonSoft’s Integrations (formerly called “3rd Party Import”) enables you to import data collected from an external source (e.g., Catapult, OmegaWave, Jaguar), or even another GideonSoft system. Each of these sources is called a “provider” (see Configuring Integrations).

Importing Data

• To begin, click “Data” … “Integrations”.
• Click on the appropriate provider.
• Drag and drop your source file onto the clearly marked box, or click to upload.
• The file will upload, and you will be notified when GideonSoft is ready to execute the import.
• Click “Import” to execute the import.
• A results page will display the number of records imported, along with detail regarding any problems or errors.

Viewing Recent Imports

You can view imports that have taken place within the last 20 minutes or so.
