Instance Settings – Objects

Instance Objects are anything that you want to evaluate that is not an individual person (e.g. the training facility).

If you need to assess something other than a person (e.g. provide feedback on an Instance or a group of people as a whole) then you can create or edit those objects here. Once a class object has been created, surveys can be created with an object as the subject.

To create an Instance object:

• From the homepage (either Module or Instance), select “Settings” “Instance Objects” “New Object”.
• Enter the name of the Object.
• You can also assign the object to one or more roles so that the object shows up in evaluations with a target of that role.

GideonSoft automatically creates another type of object. Whenever a Role or Team is created, an object is created to enable evaluation of the Role or Team as a unit. Surveys can also be configured to copy evaluations of the Role or Team object to the assigned people in that Role or Team.
