Replacing an existing Module’s Template

From time to time it may be necessary to clear out a Module template and either start with a blank template, a copy of an existing instance’s template, or an external template. If that happens:

• Note any Overlords and Overseers for the Module (once the template is replaced, these roles and assignments will be deleted).
• Export and save your ‘clean’ or ‘master’ instance template, if you haven’t already.
• Create a new empty Instance (do not inherit module template). Call it ‘Temp’.
• Import the new clean/master template into ‘Temp’.
• At the Module, go to Settings… Module Builder…
  • At the top right, click the gear icon and select ‘Change Module Template’.
  • Select Yes (you already have a template), and in the Instance drop down, select ‘Temp’.
  • Click Change Template.
• Review/add Overlords and Overseers to the Module as needed (People… Store Assignments).
• Review status definitions (archive those no longer needed; confirm the default status).
