The Feedback Tool 4: Importing and Exporting Content

You can import new Feedback Content or overwrite/update existing content in the Feedback Library (i.e. Content Library). You can also export the Feedback Library to a .CSV file, for use in another Module.

 

Begin at the Module (or Instance) homepage, and click the “Settings” button.

  • Under the section “Feedback Tool,” click “Content Library”.
  • Click the “Tools” drop down.
    • To import Feedback Content, select “Import Feedback”.
      • If you have a CSV export from another Module, you can drag and drop it in the designated box, or click the box to browse and locate the file.
      • For advanced users: You can also download a CSV spreadsheet if you wish to begin building some Feedback content outside of GideonSoft, by clicking the “Download the feedback spreadsheet” link.
    • To export Feedback Content, click “Export Feedback to CSV”.

 

Notes:

  • The Feedback Library (Categories and Items) is all stored at the Module level, but it is actually implemented at the Instance level (via Surveys, Reports, etc.).
  • Content Rulesets are stored at the Module or Instance level in which they are created.
