Using AI Audio for Check Ins and Appraisals (CPR)

AI Audio allows supervisors to record a Check In or Appraisal using the GideonSoft mobile app. GideonSoft uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to organize the conversation into notes and responses, which you can review and edit before submitting.

Nothing is submitted automatically. You remain responsible for reviewing the generated content before saving the Check In or Appraisal.

 

Note: AI Audio is currently a Beta feature and requires licensing and administrator configuration before it is available.

 

Recording an AI Audio Check In

When completing a Check In using the mobile app:

  • Start the Check In.
  • Select ‘Record the Check In using AI (BETA)’.
  • Record your discussion.
  • End the recording when the conversation is complete.
  • After the recording is uploaded, GideonSoft processes the audio using AI.
  • When processing is complete, the generated responses are displayed for review.

 

Recording an AI Audio Appraisal

The process for Appraisals is similar.

  • Open the Appraisal from your timeline.
  • Choose ‘Record the Appraisal using AI (BETA)’.
  • Record the discussion or verbal responses.
  • End the recording.
  • After processing, GideonSoft generates responses that correspond to the Appraisal questions.

 

Review the Generated Content

Before submitting:

  • Review every generated response.
  • Edit any text that needs clarification or correction.
  • Add or remove comments as needed.
  • Complete any required fields that were not populated automatically.

Note: AI-generated content is intended to assist with documentation but should always be reviewed for accuracy.

 

Submit the Check In or Appraisal

After reviewing the generated information:

  • Save or submit the Check In or Appraisal using the normal process.
  • Once submitted, the interaction follows the same workflow as any manually completed Check In or Appraisal.
