A New Front Door (and Security System!)

We’ve updated the look and workflow for signing in, with plenty of customization available! (use your same username/email and password)

• The left panel displays … An inspirational quote randomly drawn from a list your admin can upload (to better reflect your culture or messaging); a QR code to download the GideonSoft mobile app; and the ‘About’ and ‘Support’ links.
• The right panel displays: … A logo (that your admin can replace with yours); your organization name (to confirm where you are), and the ‘Remember Me’, ‘Forgot’ password and ‘Help’ links.
• More Multifactor Authentication options … Now users can use Google Authenticator, Email or SMS. And, admins have the option to enable, disable or require MFA.
  Formatted ‘Heads Up’ Text … The System Use Notification (the optional compliance message displayed to users after signing in) has been updated with an improved text editor, so you can use bold, italics, line breaks or other formatting options.

A New Way to Design Reports

• NEW Detail Data Script … A whole new way of designing GideonSoft reports and dashboards. Use with your favorite AI to create highly customized report
  and dashboard designs. Available at the Org, Module and Instance levels.
• Prepare and Protect Your Data … Select your data source, organize fields to include, and anonymize selected fields to protect privacy/PII.
• Copy from the ‘AI Prompt Starter’ … GideonSoft gives you a prompt full of guidelines & constraints, so the AI understands how to prepare a script. Whether you know what you want it to look like, or you have no idea… if you can copy and paste, you can quickly create professional report designs!
• Share Reports & Dashboards outside of GideonSoft … Shareable links for reports and dashboards can be displayed/embedded inside other websites, such as SharePoint, and admins can restrict use by URL.
• A New Look Bulletin … Two new styles have been added (Modern Card 1 and Modern Card 2), designed to give Bulletins a cleaner, more contemporary look. We also added options for a header grouping and trend indicator.

Surveys Are More Inviting Than Ever

• NEW Survey Invites … Admins can actively control when to directly invite specific individuals, roles, or external email addresses to take a survey, with
  precise control over the delivery window and notification options. For example…
• Invitation Scheduling Control … Send immediately or schedule on a later date, leave the invitation open or set a close date, and schedule a reminder to be
  sent up to 15 days later.
• Invites For Non-GideonSoft Users … Use the ‘quick entry’ link option to send an email that allows the recipient to click a “Take Survey” button and open the
  survey directly without signing in! You can even select which GideonSoft theme to use (for non-GS users).
• Multiple Layouts for Multiple Choice Questions … For single select Multiple Choice questions, you can now display answer choices horizontally or vertically. Saves space for questions with short, concise answer labels.

More AI Capabilities, More Control

• Ask Gideon AI … An in-application assistant that helps admins and users work with position and job data through natural conversation. Use it for creating positions, creating job templates, or position insights … It can draw from the GideonSoft support library for product how-to questions and the Horizon Performance leadership library for coaching and development guidance. And it will always confirm before any change is made.
• More Control Over AI … Select an AI provider and authentication method, customize Models & Prompts options, and enable only the skills your org needs. And of course there’s an org-wide ‘Enable AI’ toggle (an override for all AI-driven functionality, including surveys and reports).

Other Miscellaneous Goodness

• UI/UX Updates … We’ve updated grids throughout GideonSoft for more powerful, flexible workflows … Package Manager, Role configuration, Goal Library, Feedback Content and more! And, Notifications are now displayed in an inline quick-view dropdown in the header.
• Introducing the Autotag Bulk Generator … Define a naming pattern and a date range once for evaluation Autotags, preview the full resulting set of tags, and generate them all in a single action.
• Feedback Ruleset Updates … Feedback rule notifications can now be included when exporting Module and Instance templates. Also, notifications are now sent automatically by default whenever the feedback text changes (without requiring a separate reset step).
• New Function Added to Advanced Reports … The SecondsToTime function was added to Advanced Reports, allowing native conversion of a count of seconds to a coherent time in the format of hh:mm:ss.
• New Python Integration Type … This new provider enables Admins and authorized data teams to run Python scripts against GideonSoft datasets to generate evaluations, scores and/or descriptives.
• Less Integration ‘Noise’ … Admins can now designate which Module(s) a provider is available to use. By default, any newly created provider will only appear within the Module it was created in.
• Working on our Core … We upgraded GideonSoft’s underlying (.NET Core) framework to position GideonSoft on a well-supported, future-ready platform, with significant performance improvements. We’ve also optimized our system for improved image handling and caching.
