People

All people in the Instance are displayed here. 

 

  • You can enter text to search.
  • Filter (using the 3 filter icon) and further refine the displayed people by role or status type. 
  • Inactive people are displayed in red.
  • Once you’ve filtered the list of people, you can tap an individual to:
    • View more detail (such as username, email, roles, groups).
    • Record an observation of the person.
    • Complete a survey to evaluate the person.
    • Run a report about the person.

 

Lineups

A lineup is a quick, temporary, ‘on the fly’ method of narrowing down the list of people for evaluation in the mobile app, and it is only visible to you (somewhat like a custom person filter). Select an existing lineup or create one by selecting two or more people.

 

Creating a Lineup

  • Tap two or more people to highlight their names. (They must be in the same role)
  • Type in the Lineup name, and tap Create to the right to create your Lineup. 
  • The people you selected for your Lineup will now be the only ones displayed, and the People icon at the bottom of the screen has a number in a yellow circle (these are visual indicators the lineup is selected and ready for use with observations and surveys). 
  • Tap Deselect at the top left of the People screen to deselect this lineup and go back to your original full list of people.
  • You can also delete the lineup from here.

 

Using a Lineup

Existing Lineups will be displayed with a yellow People icon. You can select one for use in Observations or Surveys; as long as a lineup is ‘selected’, it will be available when you record an Observation or complete a Survey.

  • When recording an Observation with a Lineup selected, you will see the name of the Lineup under the Who screen. Selecting a Lineup will record the Observation to the Lineup as an object, not to the individual members in the Lineup. 
  • When a Lineup is selected and you go to the Surveys tab, only individual surveys will show up (i.e. no surveys with a Role as the target).

 

Editing a Lineup

Select the lineup.

  • Tap Edit at the top right of the screen.
  • Add or remove people by tapping their names.
  • Edit the name, if desired.
  • Tap Create to save your edited lineup.

 

Deleting a Lineup

To delete a lineup, select the lineup and tap Delete. You will be prompted to confirm.
