Files uploaded to Profiles are grouped into Attachment Types, which then are used to determine visibility or access for other users. If many files are uploaded on a person’s profile, grouping these files based on Attachment Type can also make finding and reviewing attachments easier.
Attachment Types are managed at the Module level. In Performance Modules, at the Instance level, Power Users can also create Attachment Types and set permissions when they attach files, so an Overseer can review these to make sure the appropriate permissions are assigned.
On the Manage Attachment Types page, any existing Attachment Types, including file count and permissions, will be displayed.
