Measurement Model 7: Planner

With the Planner, you can manually turn Surveys, Spreadsheets, Reports and (Behavior Observation) Events on or off. You can also schedule the Survey, Report, or Event to automatically become available for a certain date range. This is important when multiple instances will occur in a calendar year but the schedule is fixed.

  • To make an item active or visible, click on the gray eye icon, which should turn green.
  • To make an item inactive or hidden, click on the green eye icon, which should then turn gray.
  • You can preview a survey by clicking on the survey name.

 

You can set items to activate and deactivate based on selected dates, using the calendar icons in the Start and End columns. (you can schedule only a start date or end date as well, to leave availability ‘open-ended’). Note:

  • Any item that is scheduled will display a notification that it has been turned on or off.
  • A benefit of setting a start date for a Survey, Event or Report is that the item(s) will appear on users’ timelines when they first sign in to GideonSoft, via the web or mobile app. If a Survey, Event or Report is activated, but no start date is specified, it will not appear on the timeline.

 

Users with appropriate permissions can also set Surveys, Observation Events and Reports to activate and deactivate by working with those features in Design mode.
