I could be wrong, but I believe those settings at the Module level are simply the blueprint for when an Instance gets created so they will be inherited into the newly created Instance. I don't even think they actually show at the Module level, I think they are just the configuration of what will show at the Instance level so you don't have to keep creating it in each new Instance. I could be wrong, though, it is rare for most of the clients I support to actually use the Profile Visualization settings!
